  1. The King tells a few good jokes.

    What a cracking clip.
  2. placing touring caravan on farm problems?

Most of the above information is incorrect, but artschool is pretty much bang on the money. By far the easiest ( but not correct )way to do things , is just put the caravan where it can't be seen.
  3. Lost and found….

Well someone had to fall for it 😄.
  4. Lost and found….

I'm liking this out of the box thinking. I reckon leaving your gun in the highseat , with a loaded mag , would be a very efficient move. You wouldn't have to remember to get it out of the safe , and you wouldn't have to carry it. All you'd need is a flask of coffee , and marmalade sandwiches ...
  5. Right to roam

This is basically the top and bottom of everything. Respect and good manners. I've got my own piece of woodland , and I've also got access to thousands of acres of shooting , that I've had for years . It all comes down to respect and good manners . Sadly , both are dissapearing rapidly from...
  6. Right to roam

This is the problem. Most of us here are well aware of how we should behave in the great outdoors, and are respectful of others land and property, but some people just aren't , and really don't care .
  7. All well but a salutary reminder.

I'm the opposite. I always cycle instantly , and without thinking. That's more than likely due to spending years shooting rabbits with a .22lr , and often having multiple targets.
  8. Very early chick?

We have fledgling woodpigeon in our garden , in every month of the year now . They breed in the large conifer hedge between my house and the next door neighbour . I used to see the young birds , and think to myself that they wouldn't make it , but most of them do.
  9. Right to roam

I own a very small piece of woodland, and I'm quite happy for anyone to have a wander through it. I wouldn't be feeling too charitable towards anyone that is disrespectful of the countryside though. Thanks to the generosity of others ( mainly farmers), I've been enjoying woodland for most of my...
  10. Did I just see what I think I saw...?

Hiya simon. I've just noticed your post. I've got two videos on my phone , of pine martens at our woodland. It's in an area of Wales that supposedly has , or had , no pine martens.
  11. Conviction slot on application/renewal

Well I know for a certain fact that you can be prosecuted for not disclosing convictions when first applying , because I used to know someone that got prosecuted for it. He was the landlord of my local . He applied for his sgc , and didn't declare a drink driving conviction from a few years...
  12. Firearms seized following false allegation - anyone been through similar?

As much as you might not want to hear this. Your priority is sorting things out with your son. Your guns don't really matter. I had my tickets revoked . Once it was investigated, and it was clear that I'd done nothing wrong , I was told to reapply, and my guns were returned , in a cleaner...
  13. Conviction slot on application/renewal

Just be honest on the forms , that's all that they're looking for. I just write down what I can remember, and put in a covering letter , because I honestly can't remember half of the stuff I got up to when I was young and stupid.
  14. Watch your backstop, boys and girls

A friend of a friend lost his fac last year , for putting up a thermal video of him shooting a fox. I saw the video , and it looked awful , but , my mate ( a very experienced guy , whos judgment i would trust) went and had a good look in daylight , and he said that it was a perfectly safe shot ...
  15. Partners to be quizzed in new gun licence screening
