I can't comment on the condor pouch situation, but I run a nocpix lumi which sits nicely in a smoke grenade pouch... which I simply put onto the side strap of my harness...
The magazines are a bit of pain at times, often you will be better putting 4 in the five shot and 8 in the ten shot...
You may be lucky and get a 2 stage trigger version (in my opinion 2 stage is better) but either way they are still good triggers but the safety catch will be on the right...
I have deben/lightforce 170 set up on the roofbar that sticks on the roof with suction ...
hate the idea of sticking a big hole in the roof.... cables long enough to clip straight to battery so no fag lighter fuses get blown.
Lamp and handle can be stuck in roof if you want

Your instructor will get you through it, thee formulas will be given to you but you can just use your calculator to work them out.
It will be a bit daunting at first but it's straightforward when explained.
Can't rate the hi leg aku pilgrim enough! (Not the military issue ones) Never had wet feet and have been my go to summer boot for a few years. They are quite a snug fit so if you need to fit a specialist insole I would try a size bigger.
I'm also running a pair of crispi summit gtx.... as yet...

Blaser huntec camo supervisor jacket (Google it) and drain 1/4 zip top, both size large but I'd say more medium to large? (40-41 inch chest)

Origins of DMQ were Peter Watson et al whilst he was deer officer at BASC....
so essentially BASC were always involved from day one...
I think the idea od of BASC getting dsc1 accredited by lantra is to make it more viable for online learning, and I could be wrong but no other DMQ training is...
