(YAWN!!!!!) You need to get out more. Velocity along with a Ballistic Calculator works perfectly for me. As for trying to shoot through/over a chrono out too 100 yards, very smart and a good reason so many are for sale as spares.

Again a users view rather than a sales pitch, I use the Magnetospeed V3, best out there IMO, use with or without a mod, varying spacers included to cover most if not all scenarios. So easy to use, attach and shoot, no worries of placement 4 or 5 yards away, easy readout, saves all your strings...

I use the Howard Leight Impact Sports, as it appears are an increasing amount of people at Bisley, very nice and comfortable and despite what some claim with the more expensive headsets, do exactly the same job. Just prefer to look like a shooter, rather than someone in a Formula One pit lane.
