Registration is dependent on how many per year, if I remember correctly from my trained hunter/meat hygiene course. 75/year comes to mind. Please correct me if I am wrong gents.
Hi,
I am considering an Alpex 4K. I note there are 2 different wavelengths 850 and 940 in IR torches that are on sale. What is the difference apart from the obvious? I think the 850 is correct for the Alpex, if so when would you need a 940? Any advice welcome.
My sincere apologies, I didn't realise there were rules in this forum, which I had hoped was in place for communication and shared experience. Given the title of this thread, "FAC and deer stalking" I had thought my comments were relevant. Obviously not. It does seem that some want to...
Yes I already understand all that, but thanks for your comment. The original issue was/is the circumstances required to be granted a deer calibre (excluding CWD/muntjac and Roe in Scotland). Specifically a calibre that is at least .240, greater than 1700 ft.lb muzzle energy and all the rest if...
Yes that is probably what I would do, but the FAO has said I need to demonstrate need for deer legal calibre. I have passed go for the .22 250 up to fox, but have not for any thing larger and not for deer.

Hi,
I'm new to deer stalking and keen to get out and about. I'm located near Chesterfield. I have an open ticket on 17HMR, FAC Air Rifle and .22 250. I have a DSC1 but not experience. I'm ex forces, so reliable and safe!
