Hi Guys, You may have read my Swarry saga on another section of the site...It's now back from Austria, had a new recticle fitted and cleaned and inspected by Swarovski at a cost of £265. This scope is almost perfect, I had it on my Browning X Bolt 270, and it did the job well, till I got laid...

So, The scope arrived back with me yesterday, and TBH, the work that's been done is amazing...I am really happy with it now, so, off to the sales section with it...:)

I adore Sworovski kit, had a pair of binos that I loved, they went back for a service, and not a problem at all.....plus this scope, which is one of the best I have owned....but recently IMHO, the service for me has been somewhat "lacking"

Hi Guys, sorry for the very late post, but, just got a message from Swarovski, the scope will be with me tomorow later in the afternoon, seemingly its in Austria, but will be with me around 3pm.... then it's going up for sale in the "Classified" section...:)

I'm glad you guys have had good experiences with Swarovski, but so far, mine has been abysmal...I did get an email today from the Customer Services Dept, saying if I haven't had a notification for next Wednesday that the scope is repaired or starting repair to contact them again.....that will...

So, almost 2 weeks after I asked Swarry when I would be getting my scope back, as I paid for the repair almost 8 weeks ago...this morning I got this email from them..... Dear Norrie1956 Thank you for confirming that you accept our cost estimate. We will start repairing your product very soon...

Just a little update on the scope, no word yet from Swaro, it's now over 6 weeks since I paid for the repair.....I literally just messaged them, will report back, but so far, not entirely impressed....

Hiya, The scope was on my 270, which after getting covid in March 2021, lay in my cabinet unused, till this year when I sold the Browning and looked through the scope...it was in a in a cabinet in a bedroom in a heated house, ...so, cant really think of any neglect apart from not using it. I...

It does make you wonder...this Swarry scope was bought by me, and one of the main reasons was the warranty...My Meopta 6x42, which was ancient, had a similar defect, the recticle had slipped, no mention of the scope being dirty inside unlike my Swarry, maybe Swarrys way of charging for labour...

I did wonder about that too....
