  1. Left hand or straight pull

Thanks v much ..... will investigate!
  2. Left hand or straight pull

Thanks v much ..... sounds good but am based in IRL so UK purchase too complex I'm afraid.
  3. Left hand or straight pull

I hear you ..... would love a S & L but will have to wait I think ..... am not sure who stocks them in IRL - what model do you have? Synthetic or walnut stocked?
  4. Left hand or straight pull

...... that's a really nice selection you have there ..... some say! .... I am right handed but left eye dominant ..... have tried going the R/H bolt route (through necessity / lack of availability) ...... it's just easier / more natural (=> safer I believe) to get a L/H bolt.
  5. Left hand or straight pull

Thanks very much .... so many good reports about the T3.
  6. Left hand or straight pull

I've never had that problem thankfully ...... the problem is that it's really hard to avoid thinking that it could be a problem ......
  7. Left hand or straight pull

Excellent news ..... what model I'd be up in a minute only that I'm in Ireland! ..... a Blaser is definitely on the list at some stage - the K95 in 6.5 Swede is my dream rifle!
  8. Left hand or straight pull

100% agree ..... exactly where I'm at .... if the "advantage" of the fast reload (and in reality, how many times do you really need that for deer) ..... isn't practicable on the BRX - what's the point.
  9. Left hand or straight pull

I have the BRX ..... bought because it was the only left bolt I could find at the time ..... I just can't get along with it .... accurate and comes up well enough but the bolt travels too far and I don't like the safety. I'd just prefer a bolt Action TBH ..... thinking of either the Mauser M18...

  12. Classic/traditional sporting rifle recommendations

Heym are a lovely rifle .... I wanted a 6.5 Swede but am new to stalking and was warned off by all and sundry for lack of ammo choice in RoI so went .308 instead ...... mind me asking how you find getting 6.5 Sw. ammo ? Have you any problem picking up good rounds?
  13. Mauser M25

An 18 in L/H ...... now that is good news. .... thanks
  14. Mauser M25

Looks very nice and given the stablenits from,,it will be a well built thing no doubt .... no lefty version though? (The bolt conversion to L/H was the main reason I bought a BRX TBH).
