  6. What's your experience with Blaser R93

Yes, that is correct. Personally, however, I would be tempted to use the Austrian company which is currently licensed by Blaser to manufacture its R8 barrels, although going down that route for an R93 replacement barrel would likely be the most expensive option.
  7. Where are we up to with the lead ban for rifles?

That's good to know in terms of deer shooting. With regard to target shooting, logically, I feel should be exempt from a lead ban, given how easy it is to control the environment it is conducted in. Having said that, the 'well-meaning' proposals to ban lead ammunition could simply be part of a...
  8. Importing a rifle from the EU - Dealer to Dealer?

Many thanks indeed for the excellent and concise summary. It's certainly given me a lot to think about...as well as the likelihood of a restless night's sleep. Cheers!

  10. Importing a rifle from the EU - Dealer to Dealer?

Yes, it's a very old thread but I've been working my way through the legal stuff recently in an attempt to get some clarity on buying a firearm from abroad  Specifically, I'm looking into the possibility of importing a rifle component (not a complete rifle) from Switzerland and I was hoping...
  11. Importing a rifle from the EU - Dealer to Dealer?

I have been looking back at threads dealing with the importation of firearms and associated components in an attempt to learn what the present situation is. Can I ask if you still have a general import licence and if so, would this apply to EU countries now that the UK is no longer an EU member...

  13. O dear... toys are thrown out the pram.

I agree with everything you have said apart from labelling Braverman as 'unhinged'. Rather, I believe it was all a deliberately orchestrated case of a 'pysops'. Never underestimate the power of pyschological warfare against the public by the Government. Research 'Mindspace' (influencing...
