  • Yes the job has it's ups and downs lol, we've Gail's and rain too here in Essex but touch wood I've not been out since friday night. The shoot I mentioned in Essex is a magnet for foxes 66 on there last year, shot a vixen Thursday night from the high seat she was last years cub I reckon. But I've a two year old so it's hard to find the time.
That must be one hell of a job - fair play to you! I don't know what the weather is like with you - we've got rain storms and gales down here in mid-Devon. I couldn't stay in though, so just checked out some lambs for a local farmer - there was no sign of anything about apart from a hare (which I don't shoot). Mind you, I shot a dog fox and a pregnant vixen there last night, so maybe there aren't any left!
    Cheers,
    Paddy
Well you can say that Tristram said he shot well at Ed Carrs Latchingdon, Essex. Enjoy the show unfortunately I can't make it this year, I build and work on overhead power lines, needless to say I'm quite busy!

Thanks! Funny you should mention Robert - I'm meeting up with him on Friday at the Shooting Show!
    Cheers,
    Paddy
No problem you have an amazing in-sight to foxes as does Robert Bucknell, I beat/pick up and shoot the foxes on a shoot that he comes to most years so I have been lucky enough to meet him. All the best Paddy
    Hi Tristram,
Many thanks for your kind words - yes - 'twas me - glad you liked it!
    All the best,
    Paddy
Alright pal, did you write the book a foxes year? I've just read it, it's very good. Odd statement I suppose if you didn't write it but I read some of your posts and it's a similar style of writing.

    all the best Tristram
Hey up Paddy, Hows the stalking been this year? Did you get to grips with any of the reds near you. I still havent forgotten your kind offer of trying for a red one of these days. All the best, and happy stalking!........and foxing ;)Andy
