@Domer As a left hander have you considered a Beretta BRX1. Straight pull bolt which can be switched to either side, interchangeable barrels in a few different calibres, including 6.5CM. There are also a few nice after market stocks available if you want to spend money. (Look up Fine Ballistic...
@aboynamedjim You've probably read all these, but here's a few books I found interesting recently:
Truffle Hound: On the Trail of the World's Most Seductive Fungus - Rowan Jacobsen. Well written and researched information on the global truffle trade. Includes a section on UK truffle hunting...
Love it! We have a new, 6 months old, Lagotto. The breeder is big into truffle hunting and we're taking lessons. So far, Islay (the dog) will find a truffle or piece of truffle thrown in the long grass in our garden, but the forest has too many other amusements at the moment. She still needs a...
I do enjoy a drop of whisky/whiskey, for both drinking and investing. Sometimes I end up buying two bottles of something I fancy or think will increase in value - one to drink and one to put away.
Then at one point a few years ago, with a couple of bob to spend, a mate and I went large on...

Plenty of additional Aussie phrases in there for you to decipher. Bin chickens, tinnies, pluggers, cock toss, bogans, Brisvegas, bindie patch, goon bag, muntered, slip-n-slide, Sunny Boys. Tremendous.
Seems like that is the case. Was looking up something else and found this:
As self defense is a recognized reason by the law to own firearms, keeping firearms stored in loaded condition inside someones own habitation is allowed.

1994 – pump-action shotguns are banned. A few hundred were turned in, 2,000 were registered and legalized and around 40,000 disappeared and went illegal.
Category A with its two subcategories:

In the same way that the 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser is "about the same as the Creedmoor." (assuming you mean the 6.5 Creedmoor).
All three are different calibres, that probably have some different advantages under specific conditions.
And then I went shopping.
40 x 6.5x55 and a mixed bag of 450 x 22lr rounds. Hopefully I’ll find something that works in that lot. Unfortunately, the shop didn’t have any Lapua Center-X, but that just means I saved a few bucks.
