I had a problem with my carbon light stock going sticky, usual with a lot of stocks but surprised me being carbon?
I contacted sako they said post it back , and a brand new stock arrived back! Excellent service I think as I didn't fancy attacking it with chemicals as is the normal solution...
With respect, I'm not sure I really understand you're argument, I'm a professional pest controller for a living, alongside that I shoot for pleasure, I get paid to kill all sorts of things simply because people find them slightly annoying, not because they're actually doing damage? In your case...
I'm just leaving it in the garage for the moment, it's perfectly dry, wether the moss will change colour or disintegrate only time will tell, I'm tempted to stick it on a wall when I'm sure there won't be bits everywhere?
I shot this just coming out of velvet 2 years ago, left it where it was as we struggled to move it even with the head removed, I've just retrieved it and think it looks pretty good, I'm leaving the moss on I think?
