CervusNippon - All I can say is that this is my experience down here in the Borders. The Fc Ranger mentioned is to be avoided at all costs. That is not to say Fc are like that everywhere. I know what concurrent culling should mean, but down here it is very different.
Ask for a specimen lease and look for the clause that says "FC reserve the right to cull concurrently". That means, in my experience, when you ring up to advise them you are coming at the weekend, they will go out and lamp it thoroughly beforehand. You will be lucky to see deer never mind shoot...
