  1. Which Small Landig Larder

Thanks I’ll also take a look at those options.
  2. Which Small Landig Larder

Thanks that looks great, I need to figure out if I could get away with a 4500 as it’s small deer that I primarily stalk, mainly muntjac and CWD.
  3. Which Small Landig Larder

The ventilation and pre built HW is what makes the Landig pretty appealing and it takes the time pressure off breaking the carcass down when you’ve got it hung in an ideal environment. Ideally I’d like to be able to stalk at the weekend and not be under any pressure to butcher it until the...
  4. Which Small Landig Larder

Thanks for the feedback, has your drinks chiller had additional ventilation added in addition to a rail etc?
  5. Which Small Landig Larder

Thanks for the feedback, looks like you’re pretty handy at making sausages 👍
  6. Which Small Landig Larder

Hi everyone I’m planning to buy a small Game Larder. I’m a recreational stalker, mainly stalking Muntjac, CWD & Roe with the possibility of the odd fallow doe. I’ve been looking at the Landig LU4500 and LU7000 on line and would be interested from anyone that has one, particular in respect of...

  9. Yew Tree 243 Reloading

Not tested terminal performance yet and I also accept it’s a different bullet design to Yew Tree which may well be better suited to your needs particularly if you plan to use it for deer and foxing. I’m also developing a 243 load with the 53 grain tipped Yew Tree bullet as a dedicated fox round...
  10. Yew Tree 243 Reloading

I appreciate it’s a different bullet but with an 80gr Hornady CX out of my 243 it will group sub MOA with any charge weight I’ve tried and it’s bullet on bullet with some really basic load development over the chrono. It might be worth giving it a go in your Sako.
  11. Blaser R8 Ultimate Stock Options

Wow this is the thread that keeps coming back 😆 Back in 2021 it was an adjustable stock but I swapped it out for a GRS Sporter which fits me really well and got my R8 shooting like a laser. This has to be one of the best changes I’ve ever made to a rifle or shotgun.
  12. FAC variation - any tips

I’m with TVP and I find them really easy to deal with and variations get process pretty quickly, weeks rather than months. My experience is that if you have good reason they seem very fair about granting requests but they absolutely do expect you to be able to demonstrate at renewal time that...
