A thank you to Heppy123, a very enjoyable evening out. Great guy to be out stalking with. Lots of roe about and some very nice bucks starting to show which were great to watch. Clear pricing as advertise and no pressure to shoot. Happy to recommend a stalk.

  7. Wanted: What would you buy?

I’m usually a mag whore, I have a S&b 6-36 for my target rifle, but honestly get on well with the 4-16. Some of the newer S&b do put it on the parallex ( is on my 6-36) If you can find a minox zp5 they are also up there.
  8. Wanted: What would you buy?

From my experience x5-great optics, narrow field of view Z8 3.5-28 great image, extra expense of turrets. Bit limited on turret travel for long range, image a step up from x5. Now have a S&b t96 4-16, feel it’s the best I’ve had on the stalking rifle. Still able to use it at 1k on the range.

Wife loved her dubarry but since getting some neoprene le chameau vierzonord neoprene welly’s she has not looked back. The dubarry were great but a pain to keep clean/ polish and held mud on the leather. On about her 3rd year daily walking the dogs with the le chameau across muddy woods/ hills...

Hope you’re keeping well! To be honest can’t even look at the thing. It’s still at my local shop. Might get round to proofing it, apart from the fact manufacturer said don’t sent to proof as not covered if fails, wonder what he expects. Expensive mistake.

https://www.thestalkingdirectory.co.uk/threads/moderator-failure.268299/ Not a Lawrence precision. Those of you who have one, glad it works. I won’t even put the replacement forced upon me near my rifle. this is how it shoots with a spare hardy gen4 6.5mm so doubt it is due to poor rifle...

Would recommend DPT then anything else , even maybe try a bit of tinfoil, a loo roll painted black or shooting through a pillow and then if your still stuck maybe a Lawrence precision. ( my opinion only)
  13. Free: Well not quite free dog photography

Part of it is kit- the creamy blurry back ground is due to the camera lens. Part of it is light and how you use it. Some of my favourite pics are from my iPhone, but don’t have the quality but do have the memories. Regards
  14. Free: Well not quite free dog photography

Few more pics I have on my phone ( can’t up load most due to file size)
