Our 3 yr cocker went blind 18 months ago so got him a set of Rex Specs - the same brand also do a set of hearing protection that slides over the dogs head. Used by military in US and UK extensively.
We never used them as not needed, but did try them on our older sprocker - he looked a bit...

Moss - black and white sprocker, was our first dog and hasn't turned out badly for 100 quid :lol:. Very intelligent and knows exactly how to rig the system when it comes to effort, results, and food - have a sneaky suspicion that he is more intelligent than all of us......

I still use lead and don't have any issues with expansion, but agree with @Norfolk Deer Search on pinning front shoulders..
I always pin the front shoulders on all muntjac I shoot - I know they aren't going to run, and removes risk of green contamination as 90% of the time they are quartering...
