  1. Eastern European Slugs, part 2

Hello everyone! Here I go on the second part of the slugs used in former CIS countries. The slug I want to discuss today stands separately in the eco-system and even derives some solutions from cold war era soviet weaponry. Initially developed in 80s, vastly used in USSR and later in Belarus...
  2. Loose shotgun slugs legislation

Thank you enfieldspares for the prompt reply! Would "nod and winks" in the business case I mentioned above be not checking FAC of the customers and basically not caring who in result gets them? So far this is the only thing I can imagine here. Is there any guidline to understand where seller's...
  3. Loose shotgun slugs legislation

Greetings everyone! Can I have you advise about loose slugs possession legality in the UK. I'm runnig into some contradictory information here and there: Buck and Slug: frequently ask questions - no FAC required as per A8 Firearms Act 2023 - FAC required as per part 2. Though the header says...
  4. Eastern European Slugs, part 1

From my experience it depends on the main hull diameter and the width of bands. 6. Eastern European Slugs, part 1

Yepp, I knew the UK is quite strict on guns, but this seems a bit over the top :) Probably this has something to do with public safety - slugs bleed energy tremedously compared to any rifle bullet and thus pose hardly any bigger threat in usual hunting conditions.
  7. Eastern European Slugs, part 1

Hello everyone! I want to share info about some slugs we use to shoot moose in the Eastern Europe. There we had a developing market and culture up until the latest years due to the fact you had to own a shotgun for a 2-5 years before getting a rifle licence. This led to invention of the new...
  8. Introduction

Hello, my name is Ivan, google search has revealed this site to me, so here I am. Originally from Eastern Europe I used to hunt and was a member of local IPSC club there since 2016. We used to stalk mooses there if we talk about a big game (I owned there a 308 and 12ga - that covered all needs...
