If you don’t want to keep them, hang them on a post and rail fence or something similar. The song birds love using the hair for nest lining in Spring. Just be sure to tie them to the post, otherwise foxes will drag them off.

I certainly don’t have a problem with this. The problem I have is the shortsightedness in relation to the threats to our sport, and the lack of respect for animal welfare, that I see in a U.K. environment that leaves all of us open to criticism and sanction. No excuse for it.
