    Ive shot lots of Park deer all species with a .243 and lots with a .308 it’s entirely whatever your comfortable with they will all do the job.

  12. Scope for Sako 85 ss .308

    I have a Swarovski 3-9x36 on my 308 which I use regularly for woodland/lowland stalking and feel comfortable and confident shooting out to around 200 yards when required. A 6X42 would be a great scope to use in these circumstances unless you need a greater mag for longer range work.

    If you remember gold for cold, so gold on the outside unless the patient is suffering from heatstroke then it should be gold side in!
