Is there any advantage to joining a Bisley-based club (say BSRC) and the NRA? I’m not a member of either (or indeed any target shooting clubs) but considering joining one or the other or both (assuming that they’ll have me of course!)

Yes, I had seen similar prices for Oryx (RS has them at £76 for example) and they are certainly, at least from the reading that I’ve done so far, highly regarded as an alternative to the A Frames.

Agreed - Colston Basset is a prince among blue cheeses. Best served by spoon from a half wheel. Stichelton, made up the road at Welbeck Abbey near to Worksop, also very good. Made exactly the same way as a Stilton but with unpasteurised milk and hence apparently can’t be called a Stilton.
