    Welcome buddy
  6. Sika rut

I've found the same, by a good few weeks
  7. What 6.5 bullet?

I'm having great results with Yewtree 102.4gr Super X. They are like a happy medium, the front half fragments dumping energy while the shank punches through providing a decent exit.
  8. Kuiu Gaiters

I've only used them for a few weeks and seem OK so far. As everyone else has eluded to the velcro is a tad faffy.
  9. 6.5 x 47L

    22" with 1 in 8" twist.
  10. 6.5 x 47L

I am using the Yewtree Super X in my 6.5x47, running @ 2950fps from 38gr of N540. I find the Super X excellent, especially on Fallow. Very happy with them out to 300m.
  11. 6.5 x 55 Load - Yew tree TLR 114 Gr with Reloder 17 - help required

Copper likes a jump. I would take which charge weight you are happy with and do a ladder test starting at 50 thou off lands, working back in 10 thou increments. See what that produces.
  12. First Time Stalking - Any Advice?

Get out there and enjoy it, watch, listen and ask questions at the appropriate points. Remember your binos and keep your movements smooth.

  14. Is any one reloading for a 300 win mag (or other mag round)

All, thanks for your replies, it is interesting to see how some load data says use one primer, and another source says use another. I guess i will have a play with both types and see what works, Thanks again
