So I've taken my daughter out twice, first time was just with the wife to see why she was like and she was fine. Second time I took her to the range on some ground I shoot on and she's been absolutely fine and has enjoyed it. So will try get her out a few more times before the tics are out

I use it often in Scotland, I use a 50 grain vmax home load. It's going 3300 fps. It's accurate, drops them on the spot and meat damage is relatively minimal. I have a 308 which I also use for stalking and it lovely. However it's good to maintain target acquisition much easier with the 223

Good idea, I let her see them but not really interact with them. Getting her involved in cleaning is a good idea. Hopefully, she's competent and I can get her to do them all 😂

That's very nice. Did you try N140? Might even be tighter, but slower! I use the minimum powder charge for my 308 on N140 and it does well
