Easily solved if you keep the software updated. As some of the latest Spypoint cameras having a 0.8 second trigger time we don't think there is any issue with trigger speeds.
The most reliable wildlife cameras are Spypoint by a huge margin. They perform considerably better than Bushnell with regards to the IR and night time video and stills. If you want to get real close up stuff then the Bushnell Natureview HD is best as it comes with close focus rings. The Bushnell...
Also try Ansmann 2700 mAh cell AA batteries. They work great in the Photon and all other digital devices, and so far we have not had any issues what so ever with them. You can buy them cheap enough online if you google them: Ansmann R035042 Global Line Rechargable Batteries 4xAA: Amazon.co.uk...
NM800 IR are very good and so is it's little brother the NM400 IR. But you may want to look at the T20 as well as it's good to keep all your options open. Not much in it between T20 and NM800 though and the FOX FIRE T20-V is only 89 quid which includes mount, charger and battery. End of the day...
The Photon is ok for entry level night vision with a good external IR. If you can afford it then the new N750A with it's upgraded OLED screen is very good with 13 different selectable user reticles and memorization for up to 3 different rifles. There is also the drone pro which is good but more...
Certainly consider the Spypoint 3G Live trial camera. Spypoint's reliability is second to none and the software inside them is very good also. With My Spypoint the website where you can log in to view any images etc, you can set the frequency at which you are notified of camera triggers and when...
To be perfectly honest all you really need is something like the Pulsar Quantum HD38S. That is one very very good thermal imager which for under £3000 is a good buy. Lots of people are using those now and we think it's one of the best thermals around.
We are told they start from £25,000 and upwards. But you have to remember you are talking about mil spec technology here that is top of it's game. TiCam 750 really is awesome in our view.
Bit of a small test video we made to show the difference between a good thermal like the Guide 518, and the range topping TiCam 750.

All you need on a photon really is a Nightmaster NM400 IR or for better mounting the Pulsar X850 IR. Yes you can use a NM800 IR on a photon but you will need to keep turning the power down to compensate for over exposure. A T20 can also be used and the new FOX FIRE T20-v. Again be mindful of...
Thanks for posting this vid about the iScope, I guess this answers all query's regarding zooming in. Without this we could not have recorded footage from the Arrow. But believe us in real life the image quality is very good indeed. See more in our episode 4.
