Three of the stalkers I shoot with all use Sako Powerblades on Muntjac, Roe and Fallow. So far so good, but we mostly head/neck shoot at less than 80 yards where possible. The shots to the engine room at further distances do cause some meat damage which the game dealers knock money off for.
Lol! That they/we are! Thanks - A few people I know are very pleased with their T3s and seem to be excellent value for money - might be the route I go down as I can't wait 4 months for a new barrel.
Thank you for responding - when I was a target shooter, we were taught to thoroughly clean the rifle the same way after every session - but you always had to have a couple of "barrel-warmer" or sighter shots to check zero before shooting targets again as pretty much everything can affect zero...

Hi, the head gunsmith at GMK UK stated that it was badly pitted and needed to be replaced - not just light rust! It was still laser accurate when I sent it in, it was just the bolt cycling that wasn't functioning correctly.
