I think you will get a bit of a surprise when you sit your FAL test here. The MSC who usually run the courses seem to operate a "no fail" policy from what I have seen and heard. Too easy in my humble opinion.
So is this guy pushing his luck legally or what ?
He is asking for help to hunt in NZ, but if his ethics are questionable, I for one wont be offering any assistance.

I little less, shall I say, erm, straight laced on this forum. A good bunch of blokes with a wealth of knowledge
A friend shoots with a fully supressed tikka 308 and it is ok, but I don't think the noise suppression is any better than on others with DPT cans on etc.
They have had problems keeping it clean as well. Don't think I would bother personally.
As far as seasons are concerned, NZ basically doesn't have a season for shooting game apart from birds. We can shoot what we like when we like, controlled only by one`s ethics.
Thanks. I only asked because a Scotsman now living here in NZ, expressed his opinion that it was legal in UK with certain provisos.
