Thousand upon thousand just flew over in squadrons heading I think for Rattray on the coast of NE Scotland . It's dusk here and very cloudy they were just below the clouds .It's great to see and hear them again .
I was just up in the big city ,Fraserburgh and was amazed to se dozens of House Martins zooming about the small industrial buildings ,all ours have gone .
We seem to have forgotten about the other mighty 6.5 ,the Mannlicher Shoenaur . It killed more deer than anything includeing the venerable .303 until stupid legislation killed it.
I have a PH 1200v in 243 and a Rem700 in 6.5 CM also a Rem 700 in 260r . Since acquiring the 6.5 cm the 243 hasn't left the cabinet and I only use the 260 at long range I like the 140gr bullets and they work very well.
