Purchase complete! Second hand Sauer 202 in 30-06 - Swarovski scope with ballistic turret - all tucked away neatly in a Pelican case. Electric bread knife worked a treat for cutting the foam. Thanks to those for the tips via the forum - very helpful indeed. Cant wait to get it up to Scotland...

Fair comment! However £160 seems a shed load of wonga for a couple of caps...

Can anyone please advise if a butler creek cover will work fit the rear of the Swarovski Z8i with its illuminated reticle raised profile at the top of the scope? The Swarovski ones are so expensive! Thanks!

A nice looking youngster on an evening trip out, taken through the scope with my phone as no camera! Nearly got the crosshairs right - not easy, this was about the 10th attempt.

Go for the free bino option - if you don't like them you can eBay them and get £100+ for them - giving you a £600 scope for £498 effectively. Simple answer I think - think I may do this myself...
