Purchase complete! Second hand Sauer 202 in 30-06 - Swarovski scope with ballistic turret - all tucked away neatly in a Pelican case. Electric bread knife worked a treat for cutting the foam. Thanks to those for the tips via the forum - very helpful indeed.

Can anyone please advise if a butler creek cover will work fit the rear of the Swarovski Z8i with its illuminated reticle raised profile at the top of the scope? The Swarovski ones are so expensive!

A nice looking youngster on an evening trip out, taken through the scope with my phone as no camera! Nearly got the crosshairs right - not easy, this was about the 10th attempt.
Go for the free bino option - if you don't like them you can eBay them and get £100+ for them - giving you a £600 scope for £498 effectively. Simple answer I think - think I may do this myself...
