204 better than both of them low recoil fast mines running 3853fps and foxes hate it instant kills and roe deer legal with 50g in scotland if you can get the heads but 39g blitzkings are almost one hole groups from a tikka t3 varmint cant recomend this calliber enughf had 222 nice gun had 243...
i use a 7mm rem mag for foxing risk all guns kill no matter what caliber if you dont have a back stop dont shoot like most feo dont shoot or have a clue about guns yes i did say that when i told my feo i wanted a bigger caliber he sugested 243 i had one at the time get a 204 good gun for foxes
get a tikka t3 supervarmint forget remington i have both 204 tikka and remington 7mm rem mag remington the remington is crap compared to tikka in ever department read the post above says it all
i get 3800fps with 20in pipe and 37g heads with 27g powder from my tikka t3 supervarmint and drops foxes on the spot have had more luck with this caliber than my 243 for foxing had 222 223 and 243 204 i will never sell as for distance its way more than a 300yard gun il leave it at that...
have used the 7mm rem mag for over ten years and never had a problem max loads 162gheads ten reloads then bin them :eek: the necks split never had a problem with the belt all cases fulley sized
had a pair for 5years good boots never had wet feet but had a few close calls with sliding over diffrent surfaces which was unexpected as the tread looks good
