Hi. So if they use the term "Jersey Royals" it just refers to the fact they are grown on Jersey and not to the variety?

I will keep an eye out for some at my local green grocer.

I did once look at growing spuds in large tubs. I live on my own now so i am not sure it's worth it.

Back on the subject of spuds. I got some spuds from Morrisons that were allegedly Jersey Royals. I say allegedly as they were completely tasteless and it was only the Lurpak that made them edible. It may be just an age thing but nothing seems to have the flavours they once had.

I think they are being over cautious. Basc send out the magazine in an envelope that does not hide what the contents are. Everyone in the chain from the printers to my postie will know there is a high chance that my address has guns.

There used to be a modest hotel at Struan. It was run by a stalking guide so ok with guns and odd hours, cant see it listed, hope it has not gone. Had some nice food in there whilst holidaying with my Mrs.
