Hi all I'm in the market for some new gaiters any recommendations??
Thanks
Thanks
Mark II's now have a heavier grade zip - we are currently awaiting new stock as demand has been high over the last month.I’ve tried loads of gaiters the Munro are good, nice and quiet but fingers crossed they have sorted the zip issue mine did less than a season and the zips were knackered, Black islander are good very hard wearing I’m surprised to see in the comments they are quiet in heather I didn’t think so, Hunter elements do a very good gaiter tight fitting and low noise as are the Fjallraven singi.
Yeti are ok but I found if your constantly doing steep accents the toes would slip off even when glued and that gets fairly annoying as there a bitch to put back on.
Do they come in a generous calf fitting?Mark II's now have a heavier grade zip - we are currently awaiting new stock as demand has been high over the last month.
As mentioned in a previous post the Munro's were designed by myself (after many years of not finding a gaiter that suited) and Phil, some elements were taken from the old Kammo gaiter design which was probably recognized as one of the best gaiters in the market, a few folk are still wearing the Kammo's although they are a rarity these days..
Thanks
Rob
