Hi lads I'm thinking of running one of these add ons , on a 6x36x56 pm11
Any information on the ocular device will be gladly taken on board and for and against in what I want to achieve, looking for a 300m clear identification on small quarry, don't want to buy a scope just want to use scope in low light and use Hikmicro thunder when light is dropping cheers Lee or something similar, what are your thoughts, thanks Lee

Doing exactly the same at present as an alternative to the Hik Alpex 4k so that I have the benefit of my good glass right up to the point where I add the Thunder for that last 30 minutes. So far, so good. It’s working better on my .308/Z6i 2.5- 15x50 than on my .270 5-30x50 but at present I’m sold. I think your scope is too high a mag to start with personally and I wouldn’t shooting those distances either - reckon 200m max for me.

I think you will struggle with that high base mag on the pmll.
I can only tell you that the Thunder 3.0 works well on my Z8i 2-16x50 and have shot foxes up to 170yds.

be fine on 6x , I use a 4-16x and take most shots on 8-12x mag

I can id further further with the thunder 3.0 in front of a day scope than what I can with my habroc hq35

I've had plenty of long range shots with mine
hare at 440yards
rabbit at 360 yards
fox 330 yards
fallow 340yards
numerous foxes between 200 and 300 yards and under

they are more than capable of long shots but a big dedicated thermal scope will be better

I switched from a dedicated thermal to the Thunder add on, my scopes are 4-16x50 and are great. I prefer the pic quality on the add on, my dedicated thermal was a Thunder 2.0. Have found zeroing in the daylight, if it’s bright, is a complete nause compared to the dedicated thermal.

Any members willing to let me come and have a look through there
Thunder 3.0 at night please PM me , based in West midlands area
Willing to travel within reason , thanks Lee
