The moderator is a Hausken 22-250 mod that’s been drilled to .30 by Arthur smith and then had a spigot produced and thread locked into the original thread.
The spigot is stainless steel now painted with keylon.
He also produced a thread cover for the rifle.

Bought a year or so ago and it’s had very little use. It’s done some range time and I’ve taken it on 1 stalk where it took 2 CWD, but aside from that I always reach for one of my tikkas instead so it makes sense to go and to get more use elsewhere.

The rifle will come with the rail and moderator but not the scope cheek rest or sling for the price advertised.

If collected from Colchester some 30/30 ammo can be bought as well, otherwise I’m happy to RFD transfer at buyers cost

Looking for £950 for the rifle and the mod.
The vortex 1-8 scope vortex rings and cheek piece can be bought for additional cost.
Sling bipod and slip not for sale.

Only selling as it’s rarely used and I’ve just put the deposit down on a 7mmPRC

I have one of these, a 60s model. Great little rifle. If I hadn't found it last year I would have snatched your arm off for it.
Hope the sale goes well 👍
Do you know remember where the cheek piece came from? It's quite a nice one and I'm after one myself.

Huh....this rifle is still for sale...I'm shocked. 😕 This Marlin is a "ready to go" ticket to join a most discerning group of enlightened gentlemen who prize the uniqueness and historical link to the old time wild west of America.:) ...and no...I don't have any link to the seller. I just like quality lever actions.

Well...finally...this rifle is sold. What a marathon effort it was to sell something which I thought would be gone within 24 hours of it being listed.
