The receiver plate is part of the unit, unsure what the capacity is but more then capable of pulling any uk deer out of a tricky situation

Yes it's a Simpson winch with the two stroke Tecumsen engine, it's rated as stated already at 1000kg single line pull or 2000kg with pulley.
Fantastic piece of kit and given the condition as again mentioned by @the scudd, worth more than your asking, someone will get a bargain for sure.

It's an investment and a good one, the right person will come along eventually for sure.
And if they are like me and most others on here who have already took the plunge, they will wonder how they lived without it.
Brilliant for a multitude of purposes not just deer, but a whole host of other backbreaking work from timber and vehicle extraction and many other tasks.

I have the same, perhaps slightly earlier model without the throttle lever. Brilliant bit of kit, not the fastest way to retrieve but it's a dam sight easier on the heart10% commission
Will even pull you out of the mud if stuck.
I have The PCW4000 is a portable capstan winch with a 1000kg pulling capacity that can be multiplied x with pulleys. 4 stroke Honda engine. 100M rope. Be selling soon, tested on the lawn only. Having used previous other winches, this is a high end premium winch that would last a lifetime pulling Reds and whatever other use you put it to. The Simpson winch above is a great buy.
