New Pixfra Draco Multi-Spectral 4K LRF Binoculars

FEEDBACK FROM PIXFRA AND INLINE IMPROVEMENTS

①When wearing glasses, there is double images effect when adjusting the brightness on the menu and startup screens.

Thank you for your feedback. We will gradually optimize the system in the future.

② The zoom function centered on LRF is relatively choppy.

Firstly, regarding the issue of the zoom speed, we will further optimize it.

Secondly, currently we have two modes. The "Image center" mode allows for zooming in using the center of the image, without being affected by the position of LRF. Later, we will also make configuration adjustments for LRF center mode, such as LRF will only be displayed after being triggered.

Function settings → Zoom Mode → Select Image Center and LRF Center

③ LRF Measurement Logic

Thank you for your suggestion. We will collect more opinions to see what we can do.

Currently, there are two methods that can to some extent avoid this problem. One is to enable the constant display of the LRF reticle, or to use a short continuous measurement. What kind of LRF mode do you prefer? For example, in the triggered mode, do you need a 1-5 second scan time before the LRF value appears? Please feel free to tell me your suggestions.

④ The issue of LRF not being usable when the battery is low

Got it. We will immediately conduct an investigation and fix it.

⑤ Net Curtain Effect:

Each detector has noise floor, and we will strive to optimize this issue.

⑥ EIS Shaking:

Thank you for your feedback. We will continuously improve the image quality of EIS.

⑦Direct switching between Thermal and NV modes.

In the menu, we have "Custom palettes", where you can select the color modes you want to display. The minimum number of modes that can be shown is 3, which are Full-color (NV), Black & White (NV), and thermal color palettes (any one).

We will also consider later whether it is possible to switch between the two channels more quickly.

⑧Switch from 2.5x thermal to 5.5x NV base magnification

Thank you for your feedback. Due to lens limitations, the base magnification cannot be changed anymore. However, we will incorporate it into our future product planning.

Finally, thank you very much for all your precious insights—we’ve taken note of everything. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Good that Pixfra are listening

Nice to see a manufacturer who is interests interested in end user experience! Can only be a positive thing! I’m torn between a habrock or these.

If the EIS and the net curtain were sorted I'd be happy as is to be honest.

My LRF issue seemed to cure itself and I can now zoom to lrf even without the LRF reticule, which solved the choppy nature of zoom to center

I can't seem to make the LRF triggered anymore and the option to change it to triggered just stays on continuous. Also they need to link the optical to the daylight setting instead of making the user dial through a minimum of 3 to get what they want. So if the device is in daytime mode thermal + colour optical. If its in night mode nv thermal + NV optical.

Yes i have the same issue also, i've reported this.

I have had mine for a couple of weeks. Really pleased with them having move from habrok HE25L. Thermal channel is, as expected. Much better. Optical channel is very similar.
The Draco are a bit more compact and much easier to operate one handed.

That's the issue I had right after the last FW update. I went into settings on Saturday and was playing around and I'm back to being able to select triggered, with the zoom set to LRF center, without the permanent LRF reticule. Perfect basically

I'll check my settings later

Please let me know the process. I have avoided the update until there is a resolution to this

I did mine via the app. Connect your phone to the Draco WiFi and there's a button in the app to update
Yeah, getting the firmware updated isn't an issue, what i want to know is what setting i need to set to get the LRF to work on "trigger only" once I have done the update

This will fix the LRF triggered issue ^
Yep, just had a little play and I think the issue here is that nobody is really noticing the LRF menu (I certainly didn't until just now).

When you click to enter the LRF menu, top left it displays the menu item name. It's actually named 'LRF Dot', and you are choosing between Triggered and Constant.

Obviously you can't have zoom to LRF without the LRF dot so it makes sense that it's forcing this to 'Constant'.

The confusion is that people are probably clicking the LRF menu and thinking Triggered / Constant refers to the actual LRF (not the LRF Dot)

Cheers, will install the update and have a play

sorry but not understanding this!

I have upgraded the firmware and set the LRF Dot to single but still have the LRF reticle on the screen permanently (although its smaller than it was).

Is there another set I have to take to ensure the reticle only appears when I press the LRF button?

Here's my settings

I've had this Draco 635 for a month now.. Generally happy with it for all it does my initial recommendations would have been to reduce the size of the lrf cross.
It would be nice to switch between day/thermal with one click.
Also in pip mine only allows night/twilight and not colour.

The daytime stream also seem to be grainy and colours washed out. Not sure there is anything I can do about that? The video and photos were about 100m, I was expecting better at that range for definition and colour. As can be seen it's very difficult to make out the roe in this footage..

Anyone else who has one, is this nornal? Thanks in advance1000070560.webp1000070561.webp1000070563.webp
