Hi, I’m putting together a batch of 3d print projects to send to a 3d printing company (I don’t own a printer) for personal use. Mostly downloaded files from e.g. thingiverse. E.g. primer catcher and case kicker for my press, bullet tray, reloading blocks, replacement lid for my powder measure…

What are some of the most useful widgets you’ve either made/bought/considered for both reloading and general shooting-related accessories?

Who have you sent projects to in the UK for printing?

Not done anything myself, & not what your post was asking, but…

If you’re putting a batch of stuff together would there be an opportunity to do a ‘group buy’ with some bits for other SD members?

Personally I’d be up for getting a primer catcher for my Hornady press, plus a support for my Worksharp Precision sharpener.

Made a few shooting related things but of my own design.
3D printed coupling to convert a surveyors tripod to a shooting bench.
Front clip on shield to cover/block red dot sight lens when shooting (left eye focuses on target and right eye on red dot)
Picatinny slide on foregrip and butt to convert a LBP to a mini rifle.
Flexible TPU couplers and fittings to make quadsticks.
Flexible TPU keysafe pouch to stop safe keys falling out.
Deer hoist mounting spacers.
USB microscope stand for powder scales.


I use my own printer. Since I bought one it's become my default problem solver for everything from construction and joinery tools/aids, power tools accessories, plumbing parts, household repair parts .......... Within the limitations of the materials and the printing process they can be very useful.

I struggle to get all my ammo in my safe so my mate made me a 32round bullet storage box. Plus a loading tray.

That box is perfect, it's suprising how much smaller it is.

I should have said, I will need the files to be able to print... The above links are to thingiverse or maker world etc.

I am happy to design parts (it's the day job)
