Hopefully bring this back to the attention low Ground deer managers of scotland. A chance to voice your opinion on the future of deer management in the central belt and lowland areas. Many Changes are being proposed with out any real effort from Recreational deer managers. As the majority it is time we had our say and this is the start. Emma Harper will open the discussions. She is a lowland MSP and sat on the Environment Committee . Jamie Hammond (Nature Scot ) Who has worked in the central belt and low ground areas for many years and understands the complex nature of managing the different types of lands found with in the Central belt and Lowland,s. David Quarrell will talk from a Recreational deer managers perspective. He will discuss our place in the management of deer now and in the future. How important we are and how we can all encourage others in to our Dyeing Passion. Alasdair Macintosh will speak about charity in our Passion and how it has help many disadvantaged people from the central belt and beyond. Alasdair has worked on estates up north and has penned many books. He now runs the Gal Gail Charity in the south side of Glasgow. We will have Kenneth Stevens from SGA deer Team and he will be talking about the SGA and there ideas to hopefully solve some of the 50,000 extra deer problem through Recreational deer managers and incentive to include them. He will also talk about there push at government to help the make the correct choices. Food and soft drinks provided and this is a free to evening.
Most importantly you the deer managers will be able to have there say and ask questions of the speakers face to face.
