Blaser Bolts difference

I cant say I really notice myself. :)

For driven boar, my "go to" is a 9.3 x 62, but I sometimes use the 300wm, & I can honestly say, I've never given the pull a second thought !

Now, that may be more to do with the excitement of shooting the boar, or that when shooting running boar the focus is just on the boar, not the length of pull, or even the way I pull the trigger  and I do ok, mostly 😁

I spoke to shop and they happy to swap it with the shorter version, assuming the shorter version is the latest one they got, shall I switch to shorter version or keep longer one? The calibers I have are 17/22/6.5/243/30-06.

shorter is the newer one. i got mine mainly because its easier to keep in your pocket should you want to make the rifle safe whilst in the car etc.

also i have the actual answer to the longer guide rails.

apparently the R93 had a variant that didn’t have a removable magazine. the longer guide rails used to hold this in place from the top and that’s that. all blasers now have a removable trigger/magazine so long rails are not necessary anymore.

08:26 - Warum. it’s in german so use the youtube auto translation to english
