In the main menu you'll see the ir setting. From memory the first option is auto, it then goes onto 3 ascenting power options.

If I'm out all day, I'm finding the batteries aren't enough (even with the spares).

I'm really struggling to find protected flat top 18650 batteries. Annoyingly they list as 18650, which is untrue as the length shows they are clearly protected 18650.

Anyone have a source?

Have you tried Fogstar?

I have a couple of HIK button top 18650 that I use as spares. They work fine but seem to be a fraction wider as they need pulled out rather that just tipping out the Pixfra batteries.

I usually use fogstar, but seems to only be able to find protected button top.

Wanted to ideally stay "in spec" and use the same type. I'll have to try some button tops then, and see if they work.

are you sure the Pixfra batteries are protected? I don't see it written on them anywhere.
It's not. HIK do the same. They just list them as standard 18650, despite the fact that they are not 18mm by 65mm. What adds to the length is the protection circuit.

Honestly someone needs to hold these manufacturers to task. It's an industry standard for a reason, and you should list it in your specs properly.

*And breath... Rant over*

the HIK 18650 button batteries have "protected circuit" written on them. I have a couple of these that I retained when I sold my Habroks and have used them in the Draco's

@Blackwood Outdoors

Ian, its still not showing (for me) on your site and my contact email 2 weeks ago has also gone unanswered.

Are these actually in stock please, and how am I supposed to purchase one!

I have had mine for a couple of weeks. Really pleased with them having move from habrok HE25L. Thermal channel is, as expected. Much better. Optical channel is very similar.
The Draco are a bit more compact and much easier to operate one handed.
Still happy with Them?

Yep, very. It's just that image stabilisation that needs improving in later firmware. It's not terrible, I think I've just been spoilt because the Habrok image stabilisation was flawless.

I suppose you have to remember that the Habrok never came with ANY image stabilisation at all, until they released it via firmware.

I’m back to using mine like the Habroks for LL (and now night) shooting, swapping over from my 10x32 Geovid Pros for the 635 Dracos at LL. They are comparable size to each other and I’ve reverted to a smaller bino pack compared to that used with my 10x42 Geovids and the 4k Habrok. I find the Draco’s focus to be more limited requiring more adjustment but the thermal is much, much better and, having fitted the 940nm IR bulb on Monday, I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed by its NV performance. Overall, much better IMHO than the original 4k’s and I’m glad I swapped.

Cheers. I may try a set.

Got mine
No previous multi spectral to compare.

Can connect phone to binos wifi...but open Pixfra outdoors app can't get it to connect to bino
Anybody else same or ideas how to connect em ?

No such issues my end but I do find phones really dislike connecting to them as they don't offer internet, so phones will connect and almost hold off from fully connecting until you go into settings and choose to 'use this network without internet' or however your phone words it.

I have had a couple of instances where the albums wouldn't load and a disconnect/reconnect has worked, but I also have the same with my HIK scopes and my previous Habrok
