Thanks guys! I’m Surrey/Sussex. I was told at the Shooting Show in February no later than 8 weeks and in their worst scenario they would issue an extension ticket for me. No complaints as I know they will do their best.

From experience you need to chase it with the FEO as the office are rather less than stellar.
All being well my son in-law is ready to up load every thing tomorrow evening, then that will be an exact 9 weeks to renewal. I had an issue with no permission due to last minute issues, wasted time trying to source somewhere then I reread the legal requirements and all has fallen into place, had I sorted that when my Med Cert report was returned to me this renewal would have been sent in over a month ago.
I shall update the progress when the news is in.
