A freebie to convert into a doe/boar box

This is on our local gumtree equivalent free to take away, it has no papers with it (you have to have them registered and pay road tax & insurance in Germany). My idea is only for off road on field tracks etc for the ability to position it where problems pop up ie boar damage on a field or when maize is being damaged by boar.
The idea is a swinging high seat on two front legs that folds down into the trailer but when swung through 90 degrees it would get me 4-5 metres of height.
Any comments?

That looks to be a heavy trailer - great for stability but perhaps more challenging to tow off-road without bogging?

Great design, but I wonder if they noise of rain on the roof metalwork was addressed?

Although I have used such trailers for boar on the continent I have not been responsible for building them. I have however been responsible for assembling and placing many ground seats. The trick I was taught was to build the seat first, and then the hut and shooting sill (with associated elbow rests) around it. It was very sound advice. You do not have that opportunity but I would urge you to spend time getting any fixed seat in as comfortable a position as is possible before fixing it. The other point is that they do not need to be very raised UNLESS for safety reasons. The height of a high seat will enable you to shoot further in any maize fields but the effort of pushing up even quite a light aluminium high seat that is sufficiently stiff as to be stable in a breeze may be significant. Brilliant idea and good luck with both the construction and when you are using it. [My brother used an old military tanksuit in order to keep himself warm at nights.]
