I love this Greener/Webley GP but bloody Nora they were cutting corners towards the end!
Anyway I had a stiff action, behave, and difficult loading and mediocre ejection, I said ejection!
Any way, after some tuning of all the related parts which most of get upset if it's corresponding partner gets more attention, I now have an easy loading, positively lively ejection and a better trigger pull ( was a bit light) , also a nicer safety lever too.

Looks a mirror of a MKIV put back together today: anything particularly difficult with the rebuild?

It's been ages since I stripped one and it took a while to realise the safety must be off. Obvious now but I somehow managed to bend the extractor/ ejector just a fraction and it stopped allowing a cartridge to chamber completely stopping the block rising.
A very cautious tiny bending back not only restored the timing but improved the ejection in the process. I was very relieved because it was what I was going to explore next anyway.
