Fitting an Arca Swiss plate to a T3X

I have a Black Rifle Arca rail (Mlok version) on a rifle which I am happy with. Their kit is well made so have a look at their other acra products as well.
Later I ended up buying an Area 419 Arca QD mount for a bipod which has their Arcalock system. You can remove it to use on normal Arca if needed. There are cuts on the side of the rail and pins in the mount that locate in to those cuts to prevent any sliding on the rail. If you are shooting something with noticeable recoil it may be worth considering. The mounting on the Area 419 rails is a single hole and a slot so the second screw/bolt location can be selected to suit your stock.

Tika have a rail that fits directly inline with the tapped holes . Easy to fit , clean it well with meths both the rail and the top surface . Secure also with red loctite , screw it on . Best doing a dry run at assembly first .

Mountain tactical don't ship to the UK now. I emailed them about a month ago..
That's a real shame as its an excellent product - to answer the other question mine was just under $100 shipped .....although that's not really relevant now.

Maybe get it sent to someone you know in the US and on from there?

Have you got a link to the Tikka rail you mentioned above? Be interested for my next project!

Came this morning. Very easy to fit. It’s solid, I’m very happy with it!!

So how is it fitted?
Via a T-nut. They are supplied with the rail. Just drill through the stock in two places and jobs a good un. Literally took 5 minutes to fit.
I also bought the adapter for the Harris bipod so that directly fits, and now I can clamp it directly onto my tripod which seems way faster than the hog saddle I had been using- and actually more stable too

I tested it today, despite storm Dave blowing a gale, I still managed to hold it steady enough for a fox kill at 300 yards standing, shooting off a tripod. Overall I am very happy with the area 419 rail
