Super market Maris Piper potatoes being mislabled

So I been making home made chips and roast potatoes for 40 years and only use Maris Piper spuds.
I normally bu20260405_123156.webpy them by the 25 kg bag last ones were from Berwick on Tweed. Excellent spuds.
Recently ran out so got some from Lidl. First lot of roasties were awful. Then made chips. Dark brown mushy. Complained to Lidl and got a refund. Today made roasties with Morrisons and M@S Maris pipers. Slightly better but not crisp and not fluffy.
Clearly they are not Maris piper.
Looking at packaging details supplier appears to be Angus.
I think 2 possible issues. Spuds mixed up on packaging lines or the supplier deliberately using a different variety.
I want to report the issue to the food standards agency but there is no way to raise any issue with them.
Some pictures of packaging and the spuds I used today.
Anybody else having issues with super market Maris piper?

Maris piper were once the most widely grown main crop potatoe. They are slowly being superseded. However still widely available
The bag I purchased in December at BoT market were excellent. I swear by them for making deep fried chips and my kids always want me to make them when they want feeding.
Google search reveals historical major issues with mislabeled super market potatoes.

Been going on for 2 years plus in supermarkets, its disgusting, false advertising is the start point. Probbaly sent 8 or 9 letters now with no response.
Russet , king edward amd marris being sold ad the same and sometimes mixed, a spuds a spud but sell it as such.

Suspected as much for a long time - only way to know what you’re actually getting is from the grower but then it’s a case of what have ya got? Yep please I’ll have a sack👍

Yes.Bought some from Lidl a couple of weeks ago. Seemed to boil in about half the usual time and soaked up the water like a sponge.

I buy 25kg sacks of washed reds and I find them great for just about everything spuddy.
The ones I am most disappointed with, however, are the packs of supermarket baking potatoes which are watery and bland when cooked. Not sure of the type of sound, but not great.
