On the look out for rem 700 in 223 . police or tactical they were made with short barrel with tactical bolt on them cheers

Would that be the SPS? If so, I'm sure a mate saw one in @Edinburgh Rifles - mostly because he was moaning how nice a rifle it was, but his missus didn't want to buy it as she thought it was too heavy

Have a 16-17” .223 sps in a hogue
Pretty sure its a standard bolt but thats an easy fix

my friend has a pss 223rem and that came as standard with a 26" heavy barrel in a fiberglass stock.

I have one and cut the barrel down to 16” - let me know if of interest. I have many stocks and chassis to choose from also.
