I have been shooting from the age of 14, shotgun, air rifle and rimfire. I must say that over the years as my knowledge and experience grew I actually thought I new most of what I needed to know by learning in the filed for want of a better word. It wasn't until I has the chance to join a rifle club that I suddenly under stood how much I didn't know. Chatting to other shooters, getting tips, getting home and learning about bullet behaviour ect. The pure act of going to a place and regally shouldering a rifle, getting your feet in the correct position and pulling the trigger on a repetitive basis has made my out door pest control field work so much more enjoyable and by fare a much better shot. Now heading for my mid 60s and just love walking the fields in South Gloucestershire with any of my trusty barrels or some times just binoculars to see whats around. Hope to learn more from other members hear.
