Spoke to the Hik rep at the show. They are at the dealers on Tuesday. He reckons if you haven't reserved one , no chance of getting one.......sales spiel.possibly.
However, looking through it can see why the demand will be high. The image is truly excellent, and the first digital scope (on my 6th) that you see no pixellation until about x20 mag. Can't comment on NV capabilities obviously, but Hik units tend to have images that are good.......and this one is supposed to be even better than its siblings at first/last light.
Weight is reasonable too, around 750g.
Not one for hyperbole, but probably the best digi scope image I've ever looked through......it is that good.
Looks like I'll be going on the wait list for one.......
Interesting, ive spent all day there today and looked through pretty much everything.
Agreed the image is good and the focus sidewheel etc but i’m not sure that little extra over my 4K’s is worth the hassle and cost of replacing both of them.
First thing i noticed when i looked through was the screen seemed smaller and “further back” than the 4K to the point i was tooing and frowing between the two to confirm, to my eyes it is.
The tell will be if it stacks up at low light and darkness i suppose. There was alot of hype over the Lite and we all expected it to have the same performance as the 4K but in a smaller package but it doesn’t.
Out of everything i looked at today the thing that i surprised me the most with was the Pard Nightstalker 4K 2.0. the display is excellent, far better than the Alpex 4k and pro, integrated LRF, good image through the zoom, smaller and felt lighter, again not on the shelves yet so still unknown regarding performance out in the field but thats one to look out for.
Good day, met up and bought some ammo, some new clobber, cracking venison burger, sat and watched the night shooting presentation.
Home now and eager to get out!
