Decided to scratch that itch and get back into using a break barrel sub 12 air rifle again, after many years!
I have owned a couple of these in the past, HW90's are really solid well made guns. I like the gas ram system, recently learned the Weirauch make thier own rams now; as Theoben shut down long ago. I was looking for a tidy secondhand example, but nice ones seem to hold money well. Ended up getting new from the Airgun Centre, great service from those guys, including doorstep delivery.
I've put a fair few pellets through it, got a part tin of RWS superdomes another of Hobby's. Will need a pellet testing session to pick what it likes. JSB exact usually perform well, so will try some.
Something rather pleasing about the self contained power of a break barrel, and many happy memories form younger days too.
