Free: Weatherby Vanguard 25.06 looking for a good home

Folks - I have an entry level Weatherby Vanguard 25.06 that is surplus to requirements as I’ve moved over to a Sako 75. The rifle is in good condition, has a wooden stock and is just over a year old. It has had less than 100 rounds through it and is screw cut to 1/2” UNF; it also has a Contessa Rail fitted to mount a scope. The rifle seems to prefer heavier loads (Federal Premium 115 grain) but that’s not a guarantee😉. The rifle is currently in store with an RFD in Shropshire. It’s marked as ‘Free’ as I’m only looking to recover storage cost - currently £50. Purchaser will have to arrange collection or pay for RFD transfer. This is a good opportunity for someone who is just starting out and/or maybe struggling to afford a ‘new’ gun. I don’t have a photo of my rifle but examples can be seen on Livens website. The rifle is ‘sold as seen’ so no warranty implied or given.

Please DM me if interested.

I have one of these in a plastic stock, It shoots 1/2” groups at 100mtrs using old Norma 100gr

They are a very well made rifle imo

The recipient may find that’s it’s less of a starter gun and more of a “ bugger getting rid of it when it works so well “ type gun.
