Just signed up here to say I put in my FAC Grant for Hampshire back in Jan last year and still had NOTHING back so far. Last chase to them said they were and I quote the exact email.
"Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, I have no further information I'm afraid, but I can say that Grant applications are currently taking in excess of 12 months to process. They are all processed in the order they were received, but renewal applications have been prioritised.
The added work created by the change in government guidelines as meant that more work is required for each Grant and Renewal application, combined with the volume have resulted in quite a lengthy backlog. We are working hard to process. I believe the team are still currently processing applications from December 2024, just to give you a rough idea."
This was sent to me 16/03/2026 so yeah, may still be a long time. last update i got was its taking over 12 months, currently on almost 15 months so far for me i think.
