Happened upon a thread on Airgun Forum about little 22lr boxes from AliExpress, as the crappy carboard boxes they come in regularly empty themselves in my pocket or bag i thought i’d take a punt on one.
Arrived yesterday and although i had to scrimp and save a huge £1.75, got to say its just the job! no more blowing dust and pocket fluff off the rounds.

They look smart, but it seems you have to expose all the rounds in one go, regardless of how many you need.

With regular boxes, I just slide out one row of the tray at a time.

As an alternative to cardboard boxes with flat plastic trays, I save the plastic 100-round CCI boxes and refill them with whatever I'm using.

Of course but still not perfect, the 100 round boxes are a bit long to slip in your back pocket, the rounds rattle and the lids don’t stay put on the CCI or Eley boxes and need taping like the cardboard ones, don’t ask me how i know lol.

Rattle is certainly a downside with the CCI boxes. I've not had a problem with the kids, but the boxes I use are quite old, so maybe current ones are worse.

Honestly, there's a lot to like about the box you found, but I've emptied a tin of pellets into the grass (or worse) enough times to be a bit wary of something that looks capable of doing the same with .22 cartridges.

I use one of the marble arms catch 22 holders. You can tip 5 rounds out at a time, but it costs quite a bit more than the AliExpress one.

do they rattle at all ?

A small leather zip top purse is all you nead two different colours if you also have a hmrkeeps them kleen and rattle free

Depends on the age… they used to do a brilliant box that had a hole in one end that you pushed a finger through to open them. I’m not sure they do those now though?
Those are the ones I've kept a stash of (because I'm like that) Last Tenex I had was in them, can't tell you how long ago I got them, I've been on RWS for a while. Nice to keep the bullets in the box instead of collecting the inevitable sawdust out of my pocket.

Ditto, I have 2 or 3 bricks of Tenex but have been using R50 on the range for a while - down to my last brick though & no longer able to get it from NSRA at Bisley so it’ll be back to Tenex if I can’t find any.
