New Stalker - First rifle - Advice

I’ve not shot one, how does the adjustable cheek piece work on this? I can’t quite figure it from the picture. I’ve always seen the knurled knob tight to the upper. Does that just set the depth abs then a push button allows it uk slide up and down freely to remove the bolt and pack away etc? IMG_5026.webp

Yes. It's threaded so you can set a limit stop. The push button releases it to the stop you've set and allows it to drop back down when you want it to.

I plan to get those Sportsmatch quick release mounts for easy changes onto the Rimfire and PCP - cracking mounts. Fully adjustable stock makes all the difference for comfort and accuracy 👌 I'll be interested on what ammo suits it best. :)

Hoping to zero it on Saturday at the range. I have a Hawke Airmax 4-16x50 on my Weihrauch so I can leave the new rifle as is.

Ideal - my Ace Game . 223 has arrived - collecting next week 😀
It gets attention wherever I take it - just need to sort a bipod - I put a Mjoelner Secure sling on mine - had to buy an aftermarket M Loc Swivel mount as the stock one is embedded in the frame and is too close to the trigger so rifle spins around as top heavy with a bipod and moderator on.

I've been tinkering today - will have to have another look at the manual before I try again. It has the Ballistic Turret so that complicates the instructions further for newbies like me.
You should be fine with the zero I had the same scope on one for a while. Have you unlocked the turrets before

Just FYI

Just FYI the Ace Game comes with a 20 MOA picatinny rail fitted which is what is causing me the challenges with elevation adjustment range.
You need to remove the zero stop from the turret and dial down past it. I’ll see if I can find the video on how to do it. The turret is the same as the new 30 mm Z5 line. Some American videos online talking users through it. It is loosening the grub screws then making sure the black line in the centre does not rotate when you rotate the turret.
