I am wondering why I have had no shots recorded on an outing. I was under the understanding that it's not because of the shots taken in the dark and a low recoiling rifle. I was under the impression that it is a setting, I have not had this issue with my older 4k scopes so I presume that I have overlooked a setting.?

I know in the "full fat" Alpex you set the recording option in the menu so assume its currently off?

It’s also an issue for me and I know i am not the only one. To me it’s not the end of the world. Hope that Hik is aware of the issue and they will fix it with the next software update.

Think it's a well known issue that hopefully an update will fix, mine probably misses 50% of recordings.

There is a setting to turn recording on and off, and also to determine the length of recording.

But, I find in my 22 that it only picks up around half of shots. I’d assumed that’s because the lack of recoil and noise puts it on the limit of what it can detect. I’ve never tried that scope on a c/f.

Interesting to hear there may be an update for this.

The Pro recoil recording is shite compared to the old 4k.

The recoil recording on the 4K works perfectly on my pretty punchy FAC air rifle but the Pro does not pick up a single shot, ever.

Not a good step forwards.
